30 Free Songs! Sci-Fi Songs One Year Anniversary!

Today marks the one year anniversary of Sci-Fi Songs. It is hard to believe that I have been at this for over a year now. The success of Sci-Fi Songs has exceeded my highest expectations.

Getting to know all of the Sci-Fi & Fantasy authors, editors, bloggers, and fans has been a wonderful experience. I thank you all for the encouragement, camaraderie, and inspiration that you have given.

I'm proud of the songs that I've put together and to celebrate the one year anniversary of Sci-Fi Songs, I wanted to make it easier for people to get the music. Listed below are all of the songs that I've written, recorded, and posted to the blog over the course of the past year. Click on any of the titles and it will take you to the original blog post where you can download the MP3 for free.

All of the songs are released under a Creative Commons license so feel free to download as many songs as you'd like and share them with friends, play them on your podcast, use them in your video, etc.

Here are some things that I'm looking forward to in year two of Sci-Fi Songs:

. An official "Sci-Fi Songs" CD
I'm working on putting this together now and I hope to have it available by the fall.

.
The inclusion of the sheet music to one of my original songs in the appendix of the upcoming Starship novel my Mike Resnick
Special thanks to Lou Anders at Pyr for making this happen!

. Live performances!
I'm currently working on setting up some gigs at conventions, libraries, and house concerts. If you'd like me to come and play at your convention or at a house concert in your hometown, contact me at 27summers@gmail.com and we'll set something up.

.
Getting more people involved in the Podcast
If you'd like to take part in a round table type of discussion on the podcast drop me a line.

. More new songs!
The whole reason that I started Sci-Fi Songs was to challenge myself to write and record new songs every month. I look forward to putting together even more songs in year two.

Special thanks to all of the people at the following websites and blogs who have shown tremendous support and encouragement during the first year of Sci-Fi Songs:

Thanks again,
