Transmission Begun (Sci-Fi Audio Collage #1)

Last month on the blog, I asked you to send me bits of audio that I could mangle into some sort of musical audio collage. I was overwhelmed by the number of people who jumped on board. I received lots of great audio and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Without further ado, I present you with:

I'd like to thank the following people for contributing audio:

  1. Stephan Spiegel
  2. Jazz Sexton
  3. Robert Nunnally
  4. Hello The Future
  5. Laura Frechette
  6. Mike Luoma
  7. Patrick Hester
  8. Kate Baker
  9. Lou Srygley
  10. Stace Johnson
  11. Rob Stenzinger
  12. Bryan Thomas Schmidt
  13. Kevin Savino-Riker
I had a ton of fun putting this together as well as adding my own guitar and vocal parts to it. I plan on doing it again soon.

I hope you enjoy it,
John Anealio

  2. I'll have to shoot you something next time you do this, John. Okay, first I'd have to tape myself playinig it. Perfectly. What are the odds of that?

  3. Sounds cool, John. I let Charles Anderson know that part of one of his short stories is in the collage.

I'll definitely be contributing to further collages!

    Thanks,
    Stace

  6. It sounds great! I love how the music starts about 1 minute in, and I'm doubly excited that you called it "Transmission Begun."
