Stargate, Texas & A Free NaNoWriMo Song

November is National Novel Writing Month.  I've got a song for you folks participating in NaNoWriMo this year, but first...
What I'm Reading, Listening to, and Watching:
  • Books: Just finished K.V. Johansen's Blackdog and I just started Edward Lazellari's Awakenings. What are you reading?
  • Music: The new Fountains of Wayne album, the new Lindsey Buckingham album and Ron Sexsmith's back catalog.
  • TV: Just finished Stargate Universe on Netflix Streaming. Between SG-1, Atlantis & Universe, I've watched 17 seasons of Stargate.  There's a song in there somewhere. Any ideas?

What's Going On:
I'm excited to announce that I will be the Musical Guest of Honor next year at Fencon IX in Dallas, Texas!

Free NaNoWriMo Song!
In 2007, I wrote a 50,000 word novel during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).  This eventually led me to writing songs that were published in releases by Pyr Books & Subterranean Press.  The song chronicles my NaNo experience and you can download it for free.    Click here for the free download:

This one is on me, but I'd love it if you'd help spread the word.  Here are a few things you can do to help.
  1. Click the Share/Embed button on the song page to automatically share the music with your friends on Facebook, Twitter & your blog.
  2. Click the Facebook Like button or the Tweet button on the song page.
  3. Forward this e-mail to a friend that you think might enjoy the music.
Thanks so much,
