I'll be attending Balticon this Saturday and Sunday. My visit will culminate with a performance on Muf Lafferty's excellent "I Should Be Writing" Live Podcast where I will appear with Mur, Gail Carriger, and Matt Wallace.
I'll probably perform a couple of songs, including a brand new one that I wrote especially for this event. The name of the new song is ... wait for it ... "I Should Be Writing".
Anyway, it should be a ton of fun and if you are attending Balticon this weekend you should try and catch it at 8pm on Sunday night.
I'll be hanging out at Balticon all day on Saturday and Sunday. If you'd like to meet up, drop me a line at 27summers@gmail.com or contact me through Twitter or Facebook.
Hope we get to hear your new song soon. Have a great time, John!
ReplyDeleteI paused the ISBW broadcast just now, right after your song, because I simply HAD to cast about and try to find it somewhere so I can listen to it again. Over and over. Especially during those times that I should be writing.
ReplyDeleteDo you plan to put it up in your music section? Pretty please? Because it could be awesome.
Hey Sean, I wrote "I Should be Writing" just a few days before Balticon. Happy to hear that you enjoy it. I do plan on recording it properly and posting it to the blog here. It will probably be another month or so, as I'm in the middle of recording a different song right now.
